TETPOR PLUS filters are made entirely of fluoropolymers, making them highly resistant to a wide range of aggressive chemicals. TETPOR PLUS filter cartridges are specifically designed for the filtration of liquids and gases in the bulk pharmaceutical industry, the chemical industry and biopharmaceutical processes where particle separation, bioburden reduction and guaranteed sterility are required. The increased use of ozonation in the treatment of WFI systems has highlighted compatibility issues with vent filters based on standardized polypropylene components. The introduction of a fully validated TETPOR PLUS filter cartridge with sterilization-grade 0.2 μm membrane provides long-term and safe performance in these applications, with the added benefit that filter integrity can be verified by water ingress testing. HIGH FLOW TETPOR II gas sterilization filters have been developed to take advantage of technological advances in PTFE membrane manufacturing. This new generation of filters sets the standard with an unbeatable combination of efficiency, flow rate and strength. HIGH FLOW TETPOR II is validated to provide sterilization-grade filtration performance according to ASTM 838 methodology for bacterial challenge with liquid. This ensures that the filter guarantees the sterility of your process even in the worst-case scenario, when the filter may be exposed to larger amounts of liquid as a result of a process problem. In addition, slight changes in the structure of the hydrophobic PTFE material have resulted in a very robust product validated for 225 autoclave/steam sterilization cycles (up to 142°C [287°F]). CIP and SIP compatible filtersPROPOR LR - Sterile 0.1 micron liquid filters
PROPOR LR filters have been specifically developed for high flow rates and effective removal of Ralstonia pickettii and other small microorganisms. Several studies have shown that not all microorganisms are removed by 0.2 micron-rated membranes under all conditions. PROPOR LR filters utilize a 0.1 micron-rated membrane that can remove very small organisms while maintaining flow rates typical of a 0.2 micron filtration system. Ralstonia pickettii is an organism that has often been shown to penetrate 0.2 micron membranes and is a common contaminant in clean water systems. PROPOR LR filters have been validated directly against Ralstonia pickettii removal. PROPOR LR series are available in a variety of configurations.
