TFF and Hollow Fiber
Tangential flow filtration (TFF) and Hollow fiber modules are used when you need to separate, concentrate or purify biomolecules with high precision without clogging the filter. The flow runs parallel to the membrane, reducing fouling and increasing capacity.
Typical applications for TFF and Hollow fiber:
- Concentration of antibodies or virus particles
- Buffer exchange and diafiltration in bioprocesses
- Extraction of proteins or enzymes from cell culture
- Microbial fermentation where traditional dead-end filtration is not enough
