  Propor MR - Sterile liquid filters for the removal of mycoplasma

  PROPOR MR filters are specifically designed for the rapid, efficient and cost-effective removal of mycoplasma from cell culture media in the biopharmaceutical industry. The highly retentive PES membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.1 μm is validated against the industry standard Brevundimonas diminuta as well as Acholeplasma laidlawii, a common mycoplasma species in contaminated cell cultures. An asymmetrically integrated membrane prefilter gives PROPOR MR the optimal membrane configuration for maximum capacity and high flow rates.   PROCLEAR PP+ filters are designed to provide excellent retention and dirt holding capacity in pharmaceutical pre-filtration applications. Polypropylene-based filter media with optimized depth structure provide excellent retention and dirt holding properties, while ensuring broad chemical compatibility. Meltblown polypropylene depth filter media offer low levels of extractables compared to glass fiber or cellulose materials, while maintaining similar retention properties.
