Versilon™ CT-Flex
FEP & PFA hose with almost zero bending radius.
Versilon™ CT-Flex flexible corrugated hose (FEP or PFA) from Saint-Gobain forms and bends easily and conforms to difficult paths. It has a near-zero bending radius and can be stretched or compressed without affecting the inner diameter of the hose. It is resistant to chemicals, high temperatures, cuts and stress. CT-Flex is made of FEP, has transparency and is FDA approved under regulation 21 CFR 17.1550.
FEP does not contain any plasticizers or fillers that can leach and contaminate product streams. CT-Flex corrugated hose is also available in PFA, and with the diameter of the straight collar outside diameter for use with compression fittings (fittings of PFA with locking ring function are also available for the outside diameter variants of the hose).
- The ratio of stretch to compression is about 2:1
- Bending radius corresponds to half the inner diameter of the hose
- Maximum continuous operating temperature: 93.3 °C at 0 pressure
- Can be stretched or compressed without affecting the inner diameter
