STR series - Self-priming heavy duty centrifugal pump
Self-priming Heavy-Duty centrifugal pumps for applications mainly in water and wastewater treatment plants where there are requirements for high flows, materials and availability.
The STR series is suitable for heavily contaminated liquids in sewage and wastewater treatment plants containing fibers, cellulosic material and other abrasive particles.
The pumps are available in several materials, open impeller that can handle 76 mm particles in suspension and replaceable rubber-coated wear plates for long life.
The design enables the replacement of submersible pumps with dry-installed service-friendly installations. Ideal for e.g. sewage stations where the pumps are normally placed in above-ground pump houses and allows for easy, trouble-free maintenance.
Unique design and built-in check valve provide suction heights up to 7.5 m.
Front-mounted inspection hatches and back-pull out design contribute to easy maintenance and inspections.
The pumps are available in many different material combinations and designs to optimally suit each application.
Conical seal chamber with internally mounted balanced Tungsten Carbide seals as standard provides long service life.
- Flows up to 420 m3/h and pressures up to 35 m.
- Temperature ranges -10 °C ÷ + 80 °C (higher on request)
- Material selection: Wetted parts are available in various combinations, Cast Iron, Acid-proof Stainless SS316 (Special materials on request).
- Elastomer: NBR, VITON®, and PTFE
- A range of options such as. ATEX design, cutting impellers, mobile arrangements, provide a wide range of applications.
