Series of sanitary liquid ring pumps with extremely high suction capacity down to - 0.7 bar.
Robust design with front mounted DIN seals. Normally fitted with IEC motors, ATEX or hydraulic operation
Excellent as a loading/unloading pump for sugar solutions, solvents, oils etc.
Also used as powder mixing pump and CIP returns.
- Flows up to 50 m3/h and pressures up to 35 m.
- Temperature range -10 °C ÷ +100 °C.
- Materials: Wetted parts in CF-8M 1.4408 / AISI 316L 1.4404 stainless steel and electropolished.
- Elastomer (FDA Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004): NBR, EPDM, Silicone, Special fluorocarbon seal (FPM - FKM), FEP, FFPM - FFKM.
- Connections: DIN - SMS - IDF - BS / RJT - DS - CLAMP, EN 1092-1 PN 16 Flange suitable for all international standards
- A range of options are available such as protective hoods, machine shoes, drains, double seals, ATEX etc.

Pompetravaini TBA series self-priming liquid ring pumps use the side channel principle. The open star wheel is hydraulically balanced and enclosed between the suction and discharge port plates to form the pumping stage. The discharge stages are mounted in series to provide proportionally higher discharge pressure with smooth flow. For handling hazardous, toxic, odorous or polluting liquids and other applications where zero liquid leakage is desired, the TBK and TBAK magnetic drive pumps are available, based on the TBA and TBH series. TBA pumps have extremely low NPSHr requirements and are particularly suitable for handling liquids near the vapor formation pressure of the liquid, volatile liquids and other difficult applications. The design is especially suitable for handling liquids with mixed gases and liquefied gases such as LPG. The TBA series has the performance, design and operating point characteristics of the TBH series. The pump components are interchangeable, reducing the need for spare parts for both series. The TBA series pumps are suitable for handling clean, hot or cold, liquids, corrosive, in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food industry etc. Applications; Removal of condensate and distilled liquid, solvents and liquefied gases, boiler feed water, handling of liquids from processes under vacuum, fire fighting systems and autoclaves, marine drinking and sanitation systems, high pressure flushing.
