W9™ Type I ”INGOLD” - Sampling valve
The Ingold® sampling valve from Keofitt® is designed to fit ”Ingold” type bio-connectors, for sampling medium viscosity products, with solid particles up to 1.2 mm Ø. Ideal for viscosity 0-800 cP.
The sampling valve is available in standard of 40 mm or 52 mm connection length with mini Tri-clamp on inlet and outlet. Heads come in different types:
- Type H [torsion]
- Type Q [lever]
- Type N [pneumatic]
Diaphragms available in Silkon, EPDM and PTFE
The Ingold valve is used in biotech with bioreactors for sampling a variety of products.
- Temperature: Rubber membrane: 0 - 130ºC; PTFE membrane: 0 - 150ºC
- Product pressure (inside pipe or tank): Valve head type H, Q and N: 0 - 6 bar(g)
- Materials: Steel parts: 316L (other materials on request); Diaphragm: PTFE, Silicone and EPDM FDA approved
- Dimensions (Ø of opening): Process side: 7 mm; Inlet and outlet: inside 9.4 mm; outside 25 mm
- Surface finish: Inside: Ra < 0.2 μm; Outside: electropolished
- Material certificate: 3.1
