As a seal-welded version of our HPX rupture disc, the HPX-CTG ensures a leak-tight assembly, making it ideal for applications involving toxic or hazardous media or where emissions regulations are a concern. With the proven durability of the HPX rupture disc — type tested to five million cycles — the HPX-CTG enhances safety and reliability while minimizing emissions risks in critical applications. The single-piece HPX-CTG assembly simplifies installation and minimizes the risk of damaging the rupture disc during installation and handling. Its fully welded design eliminates torque sensitivity, alleviating concerns about inconsistent torque application and the higher torque required for certain gaskets, ensuring a more reliable and flexible installation.

The CDC 3/4” SANITRX HPX® Rupture Disc is a semicircular scored reverse acting rupture disc designed specifically for applications in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage and biotech industries. This rupture disc is available to fit between standard sanitary ferrules. The 3/4” SANITRX HPX rupture disc is shipped in sanitary, environmentally friendly, non-toxic packaging.

Continental Disc incorporated an external tag, aiding installation and providing clearly visible identification in the field and easy access to marked data. Get consistently accurate rupture disc installation with the HPX-PT pre-torqued holder. Prior to installation, you’ll install and fit the disc in your workshop. Then all you need to do is complete the assembly between the flanges in the process system relief stream. The HPX-PT pre-torqued holder incorporates high-strength steel socket-head cap screws for accurate loading and sealing of the rupture disc.
