Sampling bags
Keofitt® sampling bags are single use products developed to facilitate a cumbersome and difficult task. They are used to collect, transport and store a representative sample from your process for analysis.
The product range consists of Sterile Sampling Bags, Aseptic Sampling Bags and sterile and non-sterile Spike Sampling Bags.
- The sampling bags and Spike sampling bags are made of medical grade plastic. They meet all requirements of FDA, USP VI and ISO regulations for food and pharmaceutical/biotech industries.
- The bags are separately packaged in clean room and, for the sterile and aseptic versions, sterilized via gamma radiation. The connection of Aseptic sampling bags can also be steam sterilized for extra protection.
- Keofitt's sampling bags are documented for SIP suitability, biocompatibility and extractables. They also meet requirements for USP Class VI, endotoxins, mechanical and chemical properties.
- The sampling bags are connected to Keofitt sampling valves via either a W9 connection or mini Tri-clamp. They are closed with a pinch clamp.
Spike sampling bags use a self-sealing membrane for both connection, via a coarse cannula (spike), and closure.
