Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB from Saint-Gobain is a platinum-cured silicone hose specially developed for dispensing food and beverages. It is designed for food contact and all layers of this hose are in compliance with FDA, EU and GB.
This reinforced tubing adds virtually no taste or odor to the transferred liquids. The smooth inner surface reduces the risk of particle entrapment and prevents protein binding and bacterial growth, making cleaning and sterilization cycles more efficient. Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB tubing easily withstands repeated SIP and CIP cleaning and sterilization cycles, making it ideal for repeated use applications. The flexibility, durability, chemical and temperature resistance of the hose offers a unique combination of properties required in many food and beverage applications.
The silicone tubing is manufactured using a platinum curing process that meets the most demanding food and beverage hygiene standards. Third-party tests have shown that the tubing has a low extract content. This low extract content helps preserve the integrity of the transferred food and beverage media.
