Gear pumps are robust volumetric pumps that use rotating gears to create a smooth and pressurized flow. They are suitable for both thin and viscous liquids without particles.

There are two variants:

External gear pump - two gears spin against each other in a closed housing.
Internal gear pump - one gear rotates inside a larger one.

Thanks to their self-priming function, they are easy to start and use, even in empty systems.
