ED series - Magnetic drive gear pump
Environmental Duty magnetic drive gear pump, available in cast iron, steel and acid-proof steel, for applications with high environmental, safety and low total cost requirements. Magnetically coupled pumps for ultimate protection against leakage.
ED pumps are a very economical solution compared to traditional sealed pumps, especially where the application requires the use of double mechanical shaft seals. Often these applications are very different, resulting in seals and support systems requiring regular attention and/or replacement. The life cycle costs of ED pumps are generally much lower than for pumps with seals.
- Available with 90° angle configuration on connections.
- Supplied as compact flange mounted pump with IEC standard motor/gearbox, or with free shaft end for baseplate mounting to external drive.
- Unique patented internal circulation that provides good lubrication and cooling over magnet/bearing!
- Dynamically balanced rotor provides minimal axial load contributing to very long life and safe operation!
- Typical liquids are isocyanate, solvents, xylene, phenol, pesticides, benzene, liquid sulfur and other hazardous organic liquids.
- Flows up to 90 m3/h and pressures up to 16 Bar
- Temperature ranges: up to 250 °C
- Material: Cast iron, Carbon steel or Acid-proof steel
- Plain bearings: Multiple materials in bushings for optimal adaptation to different fluids.
- A number of options are available: PT-100 sensor, ATEX, Built-in bypass solution etc.
