ED series - Magnetic drive gear pump
The ED Series is a magnetically driven gear pump in an Environmental Duty design for applications with high environmental and safety requirements and a low total cost of ownership. The pump is available in cast iron, carbon steel, and acid-resistant steel and features a magnetic coupling that reduces the risk of leakage.
ED pumps are a cost-effective alternative to traditionally sealed pumps, especially in applications where double mechanical shaft seals would otherwise be required. By eliminating the shaft seal, the need for maintenance, support systems, and seal replacement can be reduced.
- Available with a 90° angle configuration on the connections.
- Available as a compact flange-mounted pump with an IEC-standard motor and gear reducer, or with a free shaft end for mounting on a base plate with an external drive.
- Unique, patented internal circulation system that provides effective lubrication and cooling of the magnet and bearings
- A dynamically balanced rotor produces minimal axial load, contributing to a very long service life and safe operation
- Typical substances include isocyanates, solvents, xylene, phenol, pesticides, benzene, liquid sulfur, and other hazardous organic liquids.
- Capacity: flow rates up to 90 m³/h and pressures up to 16 bar.
- Temperature ranges: up to 250 °C
- Material: Cast iron, carbon steel, or acid-resistant steel
- Plain bearings: Multiple materials in bushings for optimal adaptation to different fluids.
- Options: PT100 sensor, ATEX-compliant design, add-on bypass solution, and other application-specific options.
We have a large selection of wear parts for most brands of pumps and valves for hygienic applications.
We offer service and maintenance of pumps to ensure optimal performance and lifetime. Send your pump to us - we'll make sure it works properly.
