Rubber Sheets
In the range you will find everything from neoprene rubber blankets for vibration damping, to nitrile rubber blankets that meet high demands on resistance to oil and gasoline.
In the range you will also find splash protection cloth and paragumi cloth. Splash protection cloth is a rubber cloth adapted for surfaces that need covering for wear and tear and impact. Paragummid cloth is made of natural rubber and is soft, elastic and very malleable.
We also supply EPDM and silicone rubber sheets. EPDM rubber sheets are weatherproof and suitable for outdoor use, but also as sealing sheets. Silicone rubber is suitable for the automotive, shipbuilding, healthcare and food industries due to its resistance to high and low temperatures.
The rubber sheets can be delivered either on a roll or cut to your specifications. We sell all rubber sheets in minimum quantities of 1 running meter.
Neoprene rubber sheet (CR)
Chloroprene (CR), commonly known as neoprene, has more resistance than natural rubber to sunlight, ozone and oxidation. It has good resistance to heat and does not soften as natural rubber does under severe exposure. It has moderate oil resistance but is not suitable for use with gasoline. It can be blended to have flame retardant properties.
Nitrile rubber sheet (NBR)
Commonly known as nitrile, it has excellent resistance to water, oil, fuel and other petroleum products. It is superior to most elastomers in compression set, cold flow and abrasion resistance. However, it does not have good resistance to ozone, sunlight or weather. Temperature range -20 °C to +80 °C.
EPDM rubber sheet
Ethylene Propylene Rubber has outstanding resistance to aging, weathering, ozone, oxygen and many chemicals. It has high and low temperature stability and steam and water resistance. It has good resistance to glycol ether hydraulic fluids but is not suitable for contact with petroleum fluids. Operating temperature range -25 °C to +100 °C.
Rubber sheet of natural rubber (NR)
Natural rubber offers a good balance of properties, especially for mechanical applications and can be compounded to give high resilience, good tensile strength, low compression set and high tear properties over a wide range of hardnesses. The abrasion resistance of natural rubber is good. It has better resilience and maintains flexibility at lower temperatures better than most synthetic materials. However, natural rubber is less resistant to ozone, petroleum oils and liquids than some synthetic materials. The operating temperature range of natural rubber is -25 °C to +80 °C.
Silicone rubber sheet
Silicone rubber has excellent resistance to extreme temperatures. Temperatures as high as 200°C have little effect on the physical properties of the elastomer. However, it has poor tensile strength, tear, abrasion and steam resistance. It has very good resistance to sunlight, ozone, oxygen, gases and has good electrical insulation properties, water repellent and non-adhesive. Temperature range -60 °C to +220 °C.
