This hygienic liquid ring pump is part of a complete range for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The range includes seven modular sizes providing high flexibility and low spare part costs. The pump has a close-coupled design with extra supported shaft and standard IEC motor. The AS series has the ability to maintain a vacuum under varying suction conditions making them ideal for applications where the incoming liquid contains gas or air and handling foaming liquids or where only the suction pipe is partially filled. Before the first start-up, they must be initially filled with liquid. Subsequently, liquid remains in the pump, allowing fast self-priming, even if the suction line is empty. The construction and the quick disassembly design make the AS series especially suitable for a wide range of applications such as CIP returns etc.

Applications as a loading pump for raw materials, solvents or similar processes are just one of the strengths. Handles air entrainment in the liquid well with its unique design and patented drainage. Spare parts in preventive maintenance kit normally as stock item in Sweden. Documentation, certificates and tests facilitate validation/qualification for the life & pharmaceutical industry are available as usual for all CFS products.
