The BDI-FLX Burst Disc Sensor System provides instantaneous notification of a burst rupture disc. When combined with an alarm monitor, this system protects lives, equipment and the environment. Designed for use with ASME and DIN flanges or sanitary applications, the BDI-FLX employs a sensor strip with a flexible potentiometer (an electrical component that varies resistance in response to deflection) to signal a burst disc.

A critical component of a complete Burst Disc Indicator (BDI) Alarm System, the MTB-700 Alarm Monitor links to as many as four ruptured discs to alert your nearby control room of ruptured discs. Upon disc rupture, the MTB-700’s intrinsically safe galvanically isolated barriers activate signals or output relays to warn operators and actuate pumps, valves or other equipment connected to the system.
