The Albin Pump ALHP inline pulsation damper reduces vibration and fluid hammer in your pipelines, thereby increasing hose life. The pulsation is created by the working principle of the peristaltic pump. The rubber hose in the pulsation damper adjusts its volume to compensate for the pulsation and provide a smooth flow to the outlet line. This is done by means of a thick-walled, reinforced rubber hose mounted in a cylindrical carbon steel pressure vessel.
