Albin ALHP Series – Pulsation Dampers for Peristaltic Pumps
The Albin ALHP is an inline pulsation damper for peristaltic pumps that reduces vibrations and fluid surges in piping. It helps ensure a more consistent flow and extends the service life of the tubing.
The pulsation is created by the operating principle of the peristaltic pump. The rubber hose in the pulsation damper adjusts its volume to compensate for the pulsation and provide a steady flow to the discharge line. This is done by means of a thick-walled, reinforced rubber hose mounted in a cylindrical carbon steel pressure vessel. The hose is surrounded by compressed air (nitrogen if ATEX equipped).
- Albin Pump ALHP pulsation dampeners for inline systems can reduce up to 90% of the pulsation created by the pump.
- ALHP pulsation dampers are available in four sizes for ALH pumps, ranging from the ALH25 to the ALH125.
- Flow rate: up to 120 m³/h.
- Withstands pressure surges of up to 15 bar.
- Connections: Flange DIN or ANSI (PN16, 150#)
- Relevant diaphragm hose: polyamide-reinforced hose made of NR, EPDM, NBR, Viton®, Hypalon®, or NR Food.
