Micro Port™ - Sampling Port
Keofitt® Micro Port™ are designed for sampling using a needle or syringe through a sampling membrane, with minimal risk of contamination. Suitable for low viscosity products with microscopic particles in the liquid. Viscosity 0 - 50 cP. Micro Ports are available with a single membrane and Multi Micro Port 49™ with seven sampling membranes.
Micro Port is available in various designs of connections to suit most needs. These include tank welding, pipe welding and clamp (Multi Micro Port 49).
Micro Port is used in a variety of industries, such as breweries, dairies, pharmaceutical and biotech with products such as:
- water
- Milk
- Pharmaceutical solutions
- Filtered beer
- Perfume.

- Temperature: EPDM sampling membrane: 0 - 110ºC
- Product pressure (inside pipe or tank): 0 - 6 bar(g)
- Material: Steel parts: 316L (other material on request); Membrane: Butyl FDA approved
- Surface roughness: Inside: Ra < 0.8 μm; Outside: electropolished
- Material certificate: 3.1
- Needle: The septum can withstand a certain number of sampling sticks. The risk of leakage increases rapidly if a needle larger than 1.2 Ø is used
- Number of samples per membrane: 7 [Micro Port with one sampling membrane]; 49 [Multi Micro Port 49 with 7 sampling membranes]
