Versilon™ CT-Flex
Versilon™ CT-Flex from Saint-Gobain is a flexible, corrugated hose in FEP or PFA. The hose is easy to shape and bend, making it well suited for routing in tight or complex installations. It has a very small bending radius and can be stretched or compressed without affecting the inner diameter.
The hose has good resistance to chemicals, high temperatures, cuts and mechanical stress. CT-Flex in FEP is transparent and meets FDA requirements according to 21 CFR 177.1550. The material does not contain any plasticizers or fillers that can leach out and contaminate the product flow.
CT-Flex is also available in PFA and can be supplied with a straight collar for use with compression fittings. PFA couplings with a locking ring function are also available for different outer diameters of the hose.
- The ratio of stretch to compression is about 2:1
- Bending radius corresponds to half the inner diameter of the hose
- Maximum continuous operating temperature: 93.3 °C at 0 pressure
