Sesame™ - Dual seat sampling valve
Keofitt's® latest and patented dual seat sampling valve - Sesame!
- A new valve that takes safe and sterile sampling to a whole new level!
- This patented valve is the next generation of sampling valves
- Minimal risk of enforcement errors
- Optimal for CIP and SIP Developed for sampling low to medium viscosity products, with solid particles up to 3 mm Ø . Ideal for viscosity 0-1000 cP
The uniqueness of Keofitt® Sesame™ is the design of the membrane.
- There are two sealing seats: one for sampling and for SIP/CIP and one for sealing the valve head. The sealing area is thus also sterilized together with the valve chamber before each sampling session.
- Furthermore, no separate inlet is required, thus eliminating any dead space during sampling.
- The risk of contamination by user error is completely avoided; e.g. the plug of the steam supply is not set properly or the steam supply is still on during sampling and the steam mixes with the process or sample.
Sesame™ Sampling Valves are available in different body and head designs to suit most needs. The valve bodies are available as welded or Varivent, Clamp and threaded variants, with mini Tri-clamp or threaded connections. Heads come in different types:
- Type H [torsion]
- Type Q [lever]
- Type N [pneumatic]
Diaphragms available in Silkon, EPDM and PTFE
The Sesame valve is used in a variety of industries, such as breweries, dairies, pharmaceutical and biotech with products such as:
- Raw milk
- Pharmaceutical solutions
- Filtered and unfiltered beer
- Perfume
- Creams and emulsions
