Proportional valves

The Parker MD PRO is a miniature 2-way, normally closed (NC) proportional valve. It controls gas flow proportional to the input stream for flow rates up to 56 slpm. The valve can be controlled with either DC or pulse width modulation. It can also be used in conjunction with a closed loop to provide optimal system performance. The Parker VSO® Low Flow valve provides improved flow control for applications where precise flow control is required between 0 and 500 sccm. Like the VSO Miniature Proportional Valve, the VSO® Low Flow Miniature Proportional Valve provides precise flow control of gas in proportion to the input flow. The valve can be controlled with either DC or pulse width modulation along with closed loop control to deliver optimum system performance. Along with its ability to provide precise control over a wide range of media, the VSO® Low Flow miniature proportional valve is ideal for manufacturers of gas chromatography and mass spectrometry equipment.

The Parker VSO® MAX HP Series is a miniaturized, high-flow proportional valve that provides flow capacity to meet your OEM application needs. The valve delivers a wide range of controllable flows while consuming 25 % less energy than comparable miniature proportional valves. This helps to save battery time. The VSO® MAX HP Model 2 delivers 200 slpm flow at 45 PSI and is designed for higher operating pressures of 120 psi (8.27 bar), which is common in systems without a regulator. Model 4 delivers a flow of 180 slpm at 25 PSI and is designed for higher flow at lower pressure, which is common in systems with regulators. This allows for a smaller and more elegant medical device design. It also offers potential savings as well as three standard control voltage ranges (5, 12 and 24 VDC).

Parker VSO® LowPro GC is a powerful miniaturized proportional valve that regulates the flow rate of common carrier gases from less than 1 SCCM up to 6.5 SLPM. LowPro GC is less than half the size and weighs less than half the weight of competitive valves. It isolates the carrier gas from the valve spool with excellent leakage performance, very high resolution, and best-in-class flow control stability when operating under extreme environmental conditions.

The VSO® LowPro is a miniature proportional valve that regulates the flow rate of inert gases at pressures up to 100 PSIG (6.9 bar). Typical flow rates up to 57 SLPM with a typical power requirement of 1 watt at room temperature. With a width of only 16 mm and a height of 14 mm, the valve can be mounted in the smallest portable units. This improves both performance, size and weight. The valve has orifice sizes from 0.030 inch (0.76 mm) up to 0.080 inch (2.03 mm). It weighs only 12 g. Despite this, VSO® LowPro can perform the same function as valves three times its size, without compromising performance. Assembly requires only a simple, machined manifold.
