An eccentric screw pump is a volumetric positive displacement pump that moves fluid through enclosed cavities. These cavities are formed between a rotating rotor and an elastic stator with a spiral shape. As the rotor rotates, the liquid is transported stepwise from the pump inlet to outlet through these sealed chambers. This provides a stable and pulsation-free flow.
