Versilon™ F-5500-A
Versilon™ F-5500-A from Saint-Gobain is a peristaltic pump hose with very good resistance to corrosive chemicals, oils, fuels, solvents and most mineral acids. The hose is highly flexible and abrasion resistant, making it well suited for peristaltic pumps handling highly corrosive media.
The hose is made from a proprietary fluoroelastomer with physical and chemical properties adapted for demanding fluid handling. It is particularly suitable for dry cleaning lines and solvent recovery systems, where other flexible hoses may have limited service life.
Versilon™ F-5500-A can be used in continuous operation at temperatures up to +204°C. The opaque black color helps protect light-sensitive media during transfer. The hose also resists premature cracking and aging when exposed to ozone, sunlight and weather.
The hose is also approved for food contact.
