External [Ex] timers are used partly in conjunction with [Ex] luminaires that do not have an internal timer function. This is especially true for [Ex] luminaires with stainless steel housing, where magnetic transmission from an externally located button is not possible. As the camera systems are intended for use over several decades, long-term availability of spare parts is of particular importance. Spare parts for the camera systems are therefore 100 % manufactured in Switzerland or Germany. For [Ex] cameras it is particularly important that only original spare parts are used, in accordance with the [Ex] test certificate.
