Optical intrinsic safety - safe lighting even in zone 0

nanoEx is certified with optical intrinsic safety according to EN 60079-28. This means that the emitted optical energy, even under fault conditions, is too low to ignite an explosive atmosphere. This allows the luminaire to be used for direct lighting in zone 0 - a special feature currently only offered by MAX MÜLLER luminaires.

High efficiency - focus on lumens instead of watts

The integrated PowerLED© module achieves an efficiency of 117 lumens per watt. Many alternative products with higher power consumption often generate less useful light, as a large part of the energy is converted into heat - which is particularly unfavorable in [Ex] areas.

For lighting performance, it is the luminous flux (lumens) that matters, not the electrical power (watts). nanoEx therefore offers high light output at low energy consumption.

Timers meet the highest quality requirements in accordance with the quality commitment ”Swiss Excellence - Since 1936”. External non-[Ex] timers are used partly in conjunction with non-[Ex] luminaires that do not have an internal timer function. A complete range of accessories is available for luminaires. The accessories meet the highest quality requirements in accordance with the quality commitment ”Swiss Excellence - Since 1936”. Accessories are defined as components that can be added to a product at a later stage. They do not affect the design or the parts list of the product. Parts included in the parts list of the originally delivered product are defined as spare parts. Accessories for luminaires allow the scope of use of the products to be extended.
