A complete range of [Ex] stainless steel and aluminum luminaires is used worldwide for safe process lighting. The luminaires meet the highest quality requirements in accordance with the quality promise ”Swiss Excellence - Since 1936”.

The [Ex] lighting fixtures are a proven solution for demanding applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, environmental and utilities industries.

The luminaires are used to illuminate closed vessels, such as boilers, agitators, tanks and bioreactors, and open vessels, such as laboratory mixers. They are also used on flow indicators and pipelines.

Our range consists of eleven product series. Each product can be configured to your needs. This allows us to cover all common requirements. Here is an overview of the possibilities:

Ignition protection type: Ex e, Ex d, Ex op is, Ex t
Temperature class: T3 to T6
Ambient temperature: -20 °C to +40 °C or +60 °C
Protection: IP 65, IP 66, IP 67 and IP 68 (according to EN 60529)
Color temperature: Between 4 000 and 6 500 kelvin
Color rendering index: Between 80 and 90 Ra
Fortress: With tiltable hinge or as plug-in version (for metal reinforced sight glass)
Candle throwing: Direct optics or fiber optics (for separation of light source and light output)

[Ex] timers for lighting control

A complete range of [Ex] timers is used worldwide for safe lighting control. Timers meet the highest quality requirements in accordance with the quality promise ”Swiss Excellence - Since 1936”. External [Ex] timers are used partly in conjunction with [Ex] luminaires that do not have an internal timer function. This is especially true for [Ex] luminaires with stainless steel housing, where magnetic transmission from an externally located button is not possible. On the other hand, external [Ex] timers are used when the timer function has to be activated from another location, for example from a control panel, instead of directly on the luminaire.
