The Albin ALHP is an inline pulsation damper for peristaltic pumps that reduces vibrations and fluid surges in piping. It helps ensure a more consistent flow and extends the service life of the tubing. The pulsation is caused by the operating principle of the peristaltic pump. The rubber hose in the pulsation damper adjusts its volume to compensate for the pulsation and provide a steady flow to the outlet line. This is achieved using a thick-walled, reinforced rubber hose mounted in a cylindrical carbon steel pressure vessel.
