Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB from Saint-Gobain is a platinum-cured, reinforced silicone hose specifically developed for dispensing and transferring food and beverages. The hose is designed for food contact and all layers meet FDA, EU and GB requirements. The hose is designed to provide minimal taste and odor impact on the transferred liquids. The smooth inner surface reduces the risk of particle accumulation and contributes to effective cleaning and sterilization. Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB has good flexibility, high durability and good chemical and temperature resistance, making it well suited for demanding applications in the food and beverage industry. Thanks to its robust reinforcement, the hose can be used at elevated working pressures. It can also withstand repeated CIP and SIP cycles, making it suitable for processes where the hose is cleaned and sterilized repeatedly. The hose is manufactured using a platinum curing process which contributes to low levels of extractables and helps preserve the quality of the transferred food and beverage media.

Versilon™ Silver from Saint-Gobain is an antimicrobial and flexible hose with a silver-based compound on the inner surface, where the hose comes into contact with the liquid. If necessary, the outside can also be treated to counteract bacterial growth. The hose is particularly suitable for chemical transfer and distribution of food and beverages.

Tygon® HA-1000 from Saint-Gobain is a hose specifically developed for food and beverage applications with high alcohol or acid content. The hose has very good chemical resistance to strong alcoholic and acidic media and is well suited for the transfer of room temperature and chilled liquids. Tygon® HA-1000 has a smooth, non-porous inner surface that resists particle accumulation and is more stain resistant than most soft plastics. The hose is also highly resistant to strong alkaline cleaners and is unaffected by commonly used disinfectants.
