Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB
Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB from Saint-Gobain is a platinum-cured, reinforced silicone hose specifically designed for the dispensing and transfer of food and beverages. The hose is designed for food contact, and all layers comply with FDA, EU, and UK regulations.
The hose is designed to have minimal impact on the taste and odor of the fluids it conveys. Its smooth inner surface reduces the risk of particle buildup and facilitates effective cleaning and sterilization. Versilon™ SPT-70 FB IB offers good flexibility, high durability, and excellent chemical and temperature resistance, making it well-suited for demanding applications in the food and beverage industry.
Thanks to its robust reinforcement, the hose can be used at elevated operating pressures. It can also withstand repeated CIP and SIP cycles, making it suitable for processes in which the hose is cleaned and sterilized on a regular basis.
The hose is manufactured using a platinum-curing process that helps minimize the leaching of substances and preserves the quality of the food and beverage products it conveys.
