VMA series - Volumetric self-priming pump
The VMA series is a volumetric self-priming pump designed for safe and efficient loading and unloading of basins, tankers and storage tanks where the liquid level is below the installation level.
With high operational flexibility, VMA pumps can self-prime from a negative suction head of up to 4 meters, without the need to fill the pump chamber at first start-up. This makes them an ideal solution for mobile, intermittent and demanding transfer applications.
Reversible and easy to use, the VMA series combines smooth handling with a robust and heavy-duty construction. All components are manufactured with generous material thicknesses to ensure long life and reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments. The result is a pump that delivers consistent performance while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
Optimized for the transfer of low viscosity acids and alkaline liquids. All wetted parts made of chemical resistant thermoplastics such as PP, PVDF or PVC. High-quality EPDM or FPM O-rings ensure tight and safe operation, while the flexible EPDM impeller blades provide efficient volumetric performance and can be individually replaced when worn - reducing service effort and costs.
The pump's precision-machined internal components, PTFE-lined pump casing, ceramic wear parts and mechanically optimized shaft design provide excellent resistance to corrosion, mechanical stress and wear. A balanced high-strength steel shaft, supported by robust bearing arrangements, ensures smooth running, high resistance to radial and axial forces, providing long service life.
Combining strong self-priming capability, chemical resistance and robust mechanical design, the VMA is a reliable and cost-effective solution for industrial fluid transfer where performance, safety and reliability are essential.
