TBA series - Multistage/side channel centrifugal pump
The TBA series is a self-priming liquid ring pump from Pompetravaini that uses the side-channel principle. The open impeller is hydraulically balanced and enclosed between the suction and discharge port plates to form the pumping stage.
The pressure stages are factory-installed to provide proportionally higher outlet pressure with a steady flow. For handling hazardous, toxic, malodorous, or polluting liquids, as well as other applications where zero liquid leakage is desired, the TBK and TBAK magnetically driven pumps—based on the TBA and TBH series—are available.

- The TBA series offers the same performance, design, and operating point characteristics as the TBH series.
- The pump components are interchangeable, which reduces the need for replacement parts for both series.
- TBA pumps have extremely low NPSHr requirements and are particularly suitable for handling liquids close to the vaporization pressure of the liquid, volatile liquids and other difficult applications.
- The TBA series pumps are suitable for handling clean, hot, cold, or corrosive liquids in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
- Flows up to 35 m3/h and pressures up to 40 Bar.
- Temperature ranges -10 °C ÷ + 160 °C
- Material selection: Wetted parts are available in ductile iron GGG 40, Bronze, AISI 316 1.4408 (Special materials on request).
- Connections: flanges in accordance with UNI 2223–2229 PN 40.
- Suction height up to 8.5 mvp

AS Series - Hygienic liquid ring pump
The AS Series is a hygienic, self-priming liquid transfer pump for the food and pharmaceutical industries. The pump is designed for hygienic applications where the incoming liquid may contain gas or air, where foaming liquids need to be handled, or where the suction tube is only partially filled. The liquid ring principle allows the pump to maintain a vacuum under varying suction conditions. After the initial filling with liquid, some liquid remains in the pump, ensuring rapid self-priming even when the suction line is empty.
