VARINLINE® Synglas TXIA

Sight glasses installed in a VARINLINE® access unit or in a connection flange on tanks and vessels are used for visual monitoring of the product. For optically dense media, lighting with adjustable brightness is recommended.

VARINLINE® sight glasses can be adapted to VARINLINE® housings or tank connections and allow for visual inspection of the processed medium.

The sight glass is made of borosilicate glass and, depending on its size, can be used within a pressure range of -1 to 25 bar. However, the maximum allowable pressure for the surrounding equipment must always be taken into account.

To enable clear visual inspection even of cloudy or opaque liquids, supplemental lighting is recommended. The long-lasting LED lighting is equipped with 20 LEDs and is available with a connected cable in lengths of 2 or 25 meters.

The 2-watt light is activated by a sensor. For installation in potentially explosive areas, an ATEX-approved light without a sensor is also available.
