LoTo for GEA Aseptic VESTA® Valves

VESTA® valve blocks are compact and flexible sterile valves with two independent actuators. The one-piece housing design allows product flows to be combined, separated, or switched even in confined spaces. VESTA® valve blocks enable optimized piping while minimizing dead space. The significantly reduced pipe volume and improved drainage capacity are additional distinguishing features. Unlike solutions with individual valves, VESTA® valve blocks reduce the need for fittings and thus also contribute to cost-effective installation solutions.

Aseptomag® DDK double-chamber valves are used for mix-proof shut-off of incompatible products at pipe connections in aseptic processing plants. Welded stainless steel bellows are used to hermetically seal the product area against external contamination. The two integrated steam barriers (ISB) can be operated independently of each other and enable a safe separation of the two product lines, even when valve seat B in the dual internal unit is lifted. The third valve seat provides additional process flexibility and reduces downtime during cleaning. It also allows for maintenance work on the valve for the lower product line while production continues through the upper product line.
