Own production in stainless steel - that's why our long-term solutions last all the way

Imagine a factory where the requirements for stainless production is rock solid - where where every surface must be kept spotless, where a microscopic particle can determine whether an entire batch of medicine must be discarded, or where a single faulty weld can cause costly downtime. This is why it is crucial that each solution is of the highest standard.

The
your is a fact of life in the pharmaceutical and food industries, so there is no room for compromise. Every component must meet high standards of hygiene, documentation and reliability. And it's not enough to just buy in parts - you need a partner who understands the whole picture and can guarantee quality all the way.

That's exactly why we at Colly Flowtech made a clear choice: we built our own production facility in Kolbäck. Completely dedicated to stainless steel solutions for hygienic environments. Because we know that control, traceability and experience make a difference - from first drawing to finished delivery.

Full control in our stainless steel production - from start to finish

In our facility in Kolbäck, everything is done under one roof: CNC machining, electropolishing, certified welding, grinding, polishing, assembly and final inspection. This means:

  • Faster deliveries, thanks to short decision paths and no intermediaries.
  • Safety all the way, with a single contact person.
  • Higher quality, as each step is managed internally and carefully controlled.

When everything is done in one place, we have full control over quality, hygiene and delivery precision - without unnecessary risks.

Four reasons to choose our stainless steel production

Whether you need a single component or an entire system, the right production can make all the difference. Here are four benefits of our stainless steel manufacturing - and why they matter to you:

1. Hygienic head start from the first moment

Our facility works exclusively with stainless steel. No other materials are processed here, reducing the risk of cross-contamination. This means that every component we supply also meets the tough requirements of cleanliness, traceability and corrosion resistance - a crucial factor in industries where hygiene is non-negotiable. It all starts with the right conditions - and that's exactly what our stainless steel production is built on.

2. Smoother flows and more efficient dialog

Our modern machinery with CNC lathes and milling machines provides high precision and consistent results. The components can then go directly to electropolishing - without intermediate steps or external transportation. By handling everything in-house, we reduce the risk of errors, shorten lead times and make communication easier for you as a customer.

3. documentation that saves time and headaches

We know how important documentation is. That's why we can deliver each item with complete documentation according to the applicable standards: material certificates (EN 10204 3.1), surface protocols, welding protocols and approved WPS. This saves time, makes inspections smoother and provides full traceability.

4. Higher reliability and longer lifetime

Carefully machined components, electropolishing and certified welding according to ISO 3834-2 provide solutions that meet both high hygiene requirements and long-term loads. This reduces the risk of leakage, minimizes maintenance and contributes to stable, cost-effective operation over time. It is the result of carefully planned and executed stainless steel production.

Our stainless steel products

Our products are selected to meet the highest standards of hygiene and precision. Here you can see a selection of the categories we offer - please click on to explore the full range.

  • TC couplings
Tri-Clamp / Tri-Clover couplings with EPDM, PTFE, silicone or Viton gaskets. Easily assembled and adapted for hygiene-critical cleaning.
  • Stainless steel pipes
Pipes according to standards such as DIN, ASME BPE and ISO. Internal surface roughness Ra 0.8 µm as standard, alternative surface finishes if required.
  • Stainless steel elbows
Bends at different angles (e.g. 45° and 90°) with both TC connections and other standards. Provides smooth flow and minimal turbulence.
  • T-pipes
Manifolds for dividing or joining flows in pipe systems. Manufactured to the same high hygiene standards as other products.
  • Conor
Tapered transitions to safely connect different dimensions or optimize the flow in the system.
  • Dairy couplings
Hygienic couplings for food and dairy - designed for quick cleaning, high tightness and easy assembly.

Stainless steel production: From need to finished hygiene solution

In industries with high demands on hygiene, traceability and reliability, good components alone are not enough. They require a well thought-out and coherent production process where quality and control are present at every stage - from initial need to final delivery.

In Kolbäck, we handle the entire chain internally: machining, surface treatment, welding and quality control. The result is shorter lead times, fewer risk factors and documentation that stands up to careful scrutiny.

With Colly Flowtech, you don't just get stainless steel components - you get a partner who delivers quality in every detail. Want to know more? Get in touch and we'll find a solution that suits your business.

Frequently asked questions about stainless steel production

What are the benefits of stainless steel?

Stainless steel is strong, durable and resistant to both corrosion and dirt. It is therefore an obvious choice of material in environments where hygiene, longevity and reliability are important.

Why is it important to work only with stainless steel?

Because we only process stainless steel in our facility, we reduce the risk of cross-contamination. This allows the components to meet the high hygiene requirements of the pharmaceutical and food industries, where cleanliness and corrosion resistance are crucial.

What is certified welding and why is it important?

Certified welding according to ISO 3834-2 ensures that our joints are of the highest quality. This reduces the risk of leakage, increases operational reliability and contributes to longer component life.

Why is electropolishing important for stainless steel components?

Electropolishing makes the surface even cleaner, smoother and more resistant to corrosion. It improves both hygiene and durability - especially important in environments where the slightest impurity can have major consequences.

What is traceability and why does it matter?

Traceability means that each component can be followed from material to finished product, with documentation at every step. It provides peace of mind, facilitates controls and ensures you get the right quality - every time.
