In traditional couplings, the sealing cone itself is integrated into the coupling body. Serto has opted for a completely reversed design in which the cone is instead located in the nut. 

This innovative design principle means that the seal between the clamping ring and the coupling body is formed against a completely flat surface. As a result, integrated components in a piping system can be installed and removed radially—that is, straight in and out of the system. 

With Sertos’ radial system, you won’t have to pry, force, move, or dismantle adjacent piping just to access a single valve, sensor, or meter in the middle of a complex network.

The modular system is based on a small number of basic components that can be combined to accommodate different threads and dimensions. This reduces the number of items you need to keep in stock.
