Sigmatwin - Double plate exchanger for contamination-free operation
Sigmatwin is a double-walled gasketed plate heat exchanger designed to avoid the risk of contamination of product and heating/cooling media. Sigmatwin is mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry where high operational safety requirements exist.

- Double-walled gasketed plate heat exchanger designed to avoid mixing of product and heating/cooling media.
- Gaskets in LATEX-free FDA certified materials. USP6-cert materials as option.
- Surface finish Ra 0.8 as standard with optional electropolishing down to Ra 0.4.
- Connections TriClamp, SMS, DIN, Flanges and others on request.
- If one of the plates cracks, the media goes out between the plates to prevent mixing of product and cooling media.
- Temperatures from -29°C - 200°C
- Pressure ranges from absolute vacuum to 10 bar.
- A range of options such as insulation solutions, stainless steel adjustable machine shoes, stainless steel frame are available.
