UHP PFA Tube Fitting (sizes up to 1 inch) – Parflare Series
The Parflare PFA tube coupling provides a leak-tight connection with minimal dead volume and is particularly suitable for ultra-high-purity (UHP) semiconductor manufacturing and/or applications involving corrosive chemicals. Available in sizes ranging from 1/4 to 1 inch.
- Connection type: Flared
- Wet material: PFA
- Non-wet material: PFA, Titanate, PVDF
- Print, face value: 125 psig, 8.6 bar
The Parflare series of PFA tube fittings are designed for use in ultra-high-purity (UHP) systems and/or for handling corrosive chemicals, including piping in semiconductor fabs and equipment connections. The coupling’s design provides a leak-tight connection with minimal dead volume and can be used in applications subject to lateral loads and vibrations.
The Parflare series of tube connectors are manufactured from semiconductor-grade materials to ensure high performance and reliability in applications where process purity is critical. The coupling body is made of high-purity PFA, which minimizes the formation of surface particles, total organic carbon (TOC), and anions.
The fittings are available in several sizes, ranging from 1/4 to 1 inch, and in various designs to meet specific system requirements. Many versions feature Redi-flare end connections, which save space and are therefore particularly advantageous in confined spaces, such as valve manifold boxes (VMBs). The carefully engineered design also makes the Parflare series pipe fittings easy to install, reducing installation time and ensuring a leak-tight connection with minimal downtime in demanding UHP applications.
The connection is made using a heated flanging process with an external heat source and a PTFE mandrel (MFT manual flanging tool), or with Parker’s optional FG-series electronic flanging tool.
For UHP PFA tube fittings for fusion bonding, see the Parker Tubebond series.
