Versilon™ Con-T
Flexible, corrugated hose with reinforcing steel spiral. Versilon™ Con-T from Saint-Gobain is a flexible, corrugated PTFE hose developed for fluid transportation. The hose is made of spiral corrugated PTFE and has a reinforcing steel spiral running around the outside between the corrugations.
The corrugated construction provides significantly higher flexibility than smooth hoses, while the continuous spiral contributes to self-draining. The steel spiral provides increased pressure and vacuum capacity and can also contribute to electrical grounding of the system.
Versilon™ Con-T is a complement to Versilon™ CT-Flex, a corrugated hose in FEP or PFA.
