The T.VIS® A-15 is equipped with a precise position measurement system to detect the valve’s position. The necessary electrical connections for control and feedback are made, depending on requirements, via the M12 connectors accessible from the outside or through direct cable routing and cable glands. The control top can be opened for this purpose.
The T.VIS® A-15 is operated and configured either using the two push buttons on the cover or, when the cover is removed, using the buttons below. The push buttons are electronically protected against accidental or incorrect use when in operating mode.
A replaceable filter in the pressure relief connection protects the solenoid valves.
Position Measurement System – The valve's position is detected using a state-of-the-art position measurement system.
Automatic – After unlocking, simply pressing the two buttons on the hood of the T.VIS® A-15 starts the initialization process, which runs completely automatically. The Control Top does not need to be opened for this, resulting in a particularly fast, simple, and safe commissioning of the control head (on average < 1 minute).
Immediately after installation, you can set the tolerances for the open/closed positions and the signal attenuation in the parameter menu.
Activation of the main stroke, which may be required in VARIVENT® and ECOVENT® valves with an open, unoperated position for valve maintenance, is performed using the service mode, which can be activated with the buttons. At the same time, all feedback signals (warnings to the system controller) are stopped.
To protect maintenance personnel, T.VIS® also does not implement input signals from the control system.
