T.VIS® Q-15 Control Terminal
Reliable control and monitoring of overflow valves in breweries, dairies, fruit juice plants, and the pharmaceutical industry.
T.VIS® Q-15 is used to control and monitor overflow valves in the VARIVENT Q series. The system can be optionally equipped with solenoid valves and proximity sensors, which are standard equipment in the valve housing.
In addition to reliable control and monitoring of Q-valve-specific functions, the T.VIS® Q-15 offers the option of mounting the control head directly on the Q-valve.
- Easy installation directly on the valve
- Low energy consumption
- Reduced operating costs
- Filters protect solenoid valves
- High-quality pneumatic couplings
- Replaceable compressed air connection
- Standard protection class IP69

The T.VIS® Q-15 is equipped with a valve-specific proximity sensor for position detection in the valve body. The necessary wiring for control and feedback is routed through an externally accessible M12 connector. Thanks to the initial factory initialization, only the proximity sensor’s settings need to be adjusted for operation.
The buttons on the inside of the T.VIS® can be used to reinitialize the device after a reset. The push buttons are electronically protected against accidental or incorrect use when the unit is in operating mode. The compressed air connection is equipped with a replaceable filter to protect the built-in solenoid valves.
Using an optional solenoid valve (optional) in the control head, the valve cone in the Q-valve can be lifted, e.g., for cleaning. The proximity sensor in the lantern is used to provide feedback on the valve cone’s position for further processing in the PLC system.
By activating an optional solenoid valve (optional) in the control head, the closing force of the spring-loaded actuator can be increased. Two integrated status indicators, which can be processed by the PLC system, signal whether the D-Force function is active or inactive.
