T.VIS® P-15 Control Head - Position Regulator
The T.VIS® P-15 is a control head based on the technology of the T.VIS® A-15 with a position measurement system, which, when combined with an air spring actuator, can position the valve to any desired position between the open and closed positions. The T.VIS® P-15 is characterized not only by its performance but also by its user-friendliness and outstanding price-performance ratio.
The T.VIS® P-15 is equipped with a high-precision position measurement system for position detection.
The necessary cable connections for control and feedback are made via M12 connectors that are accessible from the outside.
The T.VIS® P-15 is operated and configured either using the two push buttons mounted on the cover or, when the cover is removed, using the buttons below. The push buttons are electronically protected against accidental or incorrect use when in operating mode.
The T.VIS® P-15 comes standard with adjustable inlet and outlet restrictors.

The T.VIS® P-15 position controller uses an integrated microprocessor that contains the software for operation, visualization, and intelligent position detection and evaluation. When a setpoint (4–20 mA) is specified—for example, by a PLC—the process valve can be adjusted to any desired position.
The push buttons on the hood also allow you to manually enter a setpoint to adjust the process valve to the desired position. The valve’s position is detected by a position sensor and automatically controlled using two integrated solenoid valves.
In addition, the position of the valve cone can be continuously monitored via an analog current value and, as an option, via three binary outputs to the PLC system.
Automatic – After unlocking, simply pressing the two buttons on the hood of the T.VIS® P-15 initiates the initialization process, which runs completely automatically. There is no need to open the positioner for this purpose, resulting in a particularly fast, simple, and safe commissioning of the positioner (on average < 1 minute).
Immediately after startup, limit position tolerances, control hysteresis, and control characteristics can be set in the parameter menu.
