The Parbond series of weldable PFA pipe fittings offer extremely high leak tightness and are therefore ideal for ultra-high-purity applications, including piping systems in semiconductor fabs, equipment connections, and lines for corrosive chemicals. The fittings are designed to create a permanent, leak-tight connection in piping systems with high flow rates and minimal pressure drop.

The Parbond series of pipe fittings is available in several sizes, ranging from 1/4 to 2 inches, and in various configurations such as elbow, coupler, T-fitting, and reducer. They are manufactured from high-purity, semiconductor-grade PFA and can be welded directly to PFA tubing, ensuring a reliable and leak-free connection.

Parbond series couplings are joined by heating the two surfaces to a molten state using a non-contact heat source, pressing them together, and then allowing them to cool for a sufficient amount of time. When performed correctly, this creates a permanent connection without introducing any foreign materials or surface particles, resulting in a very high level of purity.

Many models in the Parbond series are equipped with Redi-flare end connections, which save space and allow for installation in confined spaces, such as valve manifold boxes (VMB). The pipe fittings can be used within a wide range of temperatures, pressures, and process media, depending on the customer’s choice of non-contact materials. This makes them a cost-effective solution for eliminating leaks at pipe joints in applications where high reliability and minimal particle generation are critical.
