Unimax
A universal butyl rubber beverage hose, designed for minimal taste impact. The flexible and lightweight hose is ideal for handling beer, cider, wine and juice.
Butyl rubber has less flavor impact than other rubber grades such as EPDM, nitrile rubber and natural rubber. It is also more resistant to oxidizing agents such as nitric acid, which is common in CIP processes. With the lowest permeability of all rubber components, butyl rubber offers the best resistance to gases, which preserves carbonation, prevents oxidation and improves durability.
For the customer, this means a high-quality solution that protects product flavor and extends shelf life. It saves costs and increases production efficiency.
- ID sizes: 1″ - 3″ (25mm - 76mm)
- Temperatures between -30°C and +90°C
- Pressure up to 10 bar and full vacuum
- Smooth white Butyl rubber (BIIR) inside and outside
- Very flexible, fabric and steel reinforcement
- Withstands normal cleaning/disinfection and sterilization up to +120°C for max 20-30 minutes
- Complies with: FDA
- Free from Animal Derivatives and Phthalates
