MSP-N/MSP-L series - Magnetic drive self-priming centrifugal pump
The MSP-N and MSP-L series is a magnetic drive self-priming centrifugal pump for applications with high demands on safe and leak-free operation. They offer powerful and stable performance while protecting both process and environment.
The pumps are designed for installations where it is not possible to install standard conventional centrifugal pumps when the need for self-priming function is desired.
The seal-less magnetic drive completely eliminates the risk of leakage normally associated with mechanical seals, making the MSP series an ideal self-priming solution for handling corrosive, hazardous or dangerous media. Power is transmitted via magnetic induction, ensuring smooth, non-contact operation with minimal wear, low maintenance and long life. After initial filling, the pumps can self-prime from a negative suction head of up to 4 meters, providing great installation freedom and reliable operation even under demanding operating conditions.
With extra thick thermoplastic components, MSP-N and MSP-L self-priming pumps combine a compact design with very high mechanical strength. All wetted parts are made of PP or PVDF and combined with carefully selected elastomers (EPDM, FPM, FEP, FFKM), providing excellent resistance to acids, bases and aggressive chemicals. The result is safe operation, long service life and low total cost of ownership.
The advanced hydraulic design ensures stable and efficient performance of the self-priming pump in a wide range of applications. Fully encapsulated magnetic cores, wear-resistant sliding bushes and reinforced flanges further contribute to high operational reliability.
The difference between the two models lies in the construction. MSP-N is equipped with a heavy-duty cast iron center section with integrated support feet, making it particularly suitable for harsh industrial environments where maximum rigidity is required. MSP-L features a lightweight aluminum middle section and carbon steel support feet, allowing for easier handling and lower overall weight without compromising performance.
With IEC-compliant motors, chemical-resistant materials and a proven magnetic-drive design, MSP-N and MSP-L self-priming magnetic-drive pumps offer a powerful combination of safety, durability and efficiency - an obvious choice for the chemical process industry, environmental technology and any application where leak-free and self-priming operation is essential.
