TCH series - Chemical norm centrifugal pumps ISO 2858
The Pompetravainis TCH Series is a chemical-grade centrifugal pump developed in accordance with ISO 5199 Class II and sized in accordance with ISO 2858/DIN 24256.
The result is a flexible, modular centrifugal pump designed to meet the demanding requirements of the process, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
These pumps are the result of Pompetravaini's continuous research and development. They are also based on the extensive experience gained over many years of using the previous MCU-CH series in countless installations and applications.

Features and benefits
- The pump can be equipped with a single or double mechanical shaft seal in accordance with ISO 3069/UNI EN 12756, a cartridge seal, or a gland seal in various designs.
- Pump and seal housings can be fitted with heating or cooling jackets as required.
- The pump is suitable for handling clean or slightly contaminated liquids, as well as hot, acidic, and caustic chemicals in a variety of industries.
- From the TCH series are derived the TCT series - Vortex pumps, the TCA series - with open impeller and the TCD series - Thermal oil pump; all designed for very specific pumping applications. All these series use several common components.
- Units up to 30 kW can be short-coupled, with the addition of a lantern piece to motors with B5 flange. This monoblock design provides alignment advantages, easy assembly and guarantee of perfect alignment, even after transportation.
Specifications
- Flow rates up to 500 m³/h and pressures up to 16 bar.
- Temperature range: -40 to +260 °C, depending on pressure and material selection.
- Materials: Parts in contact with fluids are available in several material combinations, such as cast iron, ductile iron, AISI 316/ASTM CF8M, ASTM CN7M, Incoloy 825, and Hastelloy C. Special materials are available upon request.
- Internally mounted mechanical shaft seals are available in several material combinations in accordance with ISO 3069/UNI EN 12756.
- The connections are flanged in accordance with UNI 2223–2229 PN16.
- Several options are available, such as ATEX-compliant models and MOCA-compliant models for the food industry.
