Pompetravaini's new TCH series and derived series in the same family is a centrifugal pump developed according to ISO 5199 class II and dimensioned according to ISO 2858/DIN 24256. It provides an ideal product with great width and modularity adapted to the high requirements of the process, petrochemical and chemical industries in particular. These pumps are the result of Pompetravaini's continuous research and development. They are also based on the extensive experience acquired during many years of use of the previous MCU-CH series in countless installations and applications. Shaft seals single or double mechanical seal (ISO 3069 / UNI EN 12756) Cartridge seal and stuffing box seal in various designs. Pump and seal housings can be fitted with heating or cooling jackets as required. Handling of clean or slightly contaminated liquids, hot, acidic and caustic chemicals is important in several industries. This includes the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food production, pulp and paper, steel and textile industries. From the TCH series are derived the TCT series - Vortex pumps, the TCA series - open impeller and the TCD series - Thermal oil pump; all designed for very specific pumping applications. All these series use several common components. Units up to 30 kW can be close coupled, with the addition of a lantern piece to B5 flange motors. TCD centrifugal pump for thermal oil. The TCD pump series is specially designed to handle thermal fluids up to 320˚C without special cooling systems. In the active cooling version "XT" it is possible to pump diathermic fluids up to a temperature of 365 °C. A special thermal barrier chamber, located between the pump casing and the impeller, blocks the heat from the pumped product. The designers have designed the bearing with cooling fins to effectively dissipate the heat from the pump casing. This design allows the safe use of a standard, simple mechanical seal. The pump shaft is supported by oversized C3 series ball bearings and is oil lubricated. The pump casing and impeller are the same as the other pumps in the two smallest models of the TCH series. Pump dimensions and characteristics are in accordance with ISO 2858/DIN 24256 and are the same as for the corresponding TCH series models. The TCD/SP pump range has been specifically designed to handle vegetable oils. The design varies from the standard TCD series at the mechanical seal; An additional chamber has been added behind the mechanical seal. This chamber should be connected to a container containing oil compatible with the pumped liquid. This device avoids that in case of seal failure, the air can enter the pump and oxidize the oil or that oil from the bearing housing enters the pump housing or vice versa.Pompetravaini -

TCHM and TCTM series of Pompetravaini are of the highest quality with high efficiency and attractive price to chemical industry and industry in general. These robust and reliable pumps are based on the TCH series. They are manufactured in accordance with ISO standards 2858 and 5199. They are available in combination in simple monobloc assembly. Equipped with standard IEC B5 motors, allowing cost savings and better availability. The motors are directly connected to the pump without the need for flexible couplings and require no alignment. Perfect alignment is guaranteed, resulting in lower maintenance costs and longer service life. Centrifugal pump with open vortex impeller. Suitable for handling liquids with suspended solids or fibers as well as muddy and viscous media. The impeller is of the internal vortex type. The liquid is handled by means of the vortex motion created by the impeller which does not come into direct contact with the pumped liquid. The design uses the pump casing, the bearing part from the TCH series and derived series. The highly efficient characteristics are therefore retained, with the added bonus that the number of spare parts to be stocked can be reduced. The TCA is a chemical centrifugal pump with a fully open impeller, designed for handling abrasive liquids as well as suspensions and solids. The impeller rotates between two wear plates, front and rear, which can be easily replaced in case of prolonged wear. The special four-blade hydraulic profile offers high hydraulic efficiency and low NPSH requirements. The design uses the pump housing, the bearing part from the TCH series and derived series.
